Fun Fact: Like all place names in Starkey Ranch, Monroe Commons has historical roots. The commons is a one-block square park in the middle of the neighborhood, named for Monroe Booth of the McMullen-Booth families of Pinellas County, a long-time friend of Jay B. Starkey Sr. Read more about this history of Starkey Ranch HERE.
